I'm attempting to write a small 'turn based' tactical 'multi player' mobile game. This is a Developer Diary to show how difficult these kind of things are to do, especially when you've already got a full time job, social life etc. The game itself will be written with a combination of J2ME, .Net and XML (as the glue between them). However, I'm presently writing a realtime multiplayer mobile game at the moment, as a learning exercise for the turn based game.
Well, here we are again. Client 'F' is requiring this new fix by Next Week so we have to have the system tested and available by Thursday lunchtime at the latest so it can be deployed in time. You can just see the mad panic begin to settle into the management's eyes.
