I'm attempting to write a small 'turn based' tactical 'multi player' mobile game. This is a Developer Diary to show how difficult these kind of things are to do, especially when you've already got a full time job, social life etc. The game itself will be written with a combination of J2ME, .Net and XML (as the glue between them). However, I'm presently writing a realtime multiplayer mobile game at the moment, as a learning exercise for the turn based game.
Right .Net is working again, The Media player is working again, the only thing left is the Windows update. So basically I'm ready to go, just in time for work to start. What a waste of two days off. And people thing that it's only big corporations that get hit with a virus, us little people get hit too.
