I'm attempting to write a small 'turn based' tactical 'multi player' mobile game. This is a Developer Diary to show how difficult these kind of things are to do, especially when you've already got a full time job, social life etc. The game itself will be written with a combination of J2ME, .Net and XML (as the glue between them). However, I'm presently writing a realtime multiplayer mobile game at the moment, as a learning exercise for the turn based game.
Oh I’m really not having much luck this week. The w32 worm has hit me and Norton just cleaned it up. I feel that no or little progress is being made at the moment, which is incredibly frustrating. Still, got to keep going because there’s too much I need to know.
