I'm attempting to write a small 'turn based' tactical 'multi player' mobile game. This is a Developer Diary to show how difficult these kind of things are to do, especially when you've already got a full time job, social life etc. The game itself will be written with a combination of J2ME, .Net and XML (as the glue between them). However, I'm presently writing a realtime multiplayer mobile game at the moment, as a learning exercise for the turn based game.
I’ve found out that it’s the size of the graphics in the game that are the problem. I’ve got to find out what I need to do in order get the display working again. Might be able to have a read crack at it over the weekend.
